Back where it all started
I grew up in Zadar, Croatia. That’s where I first fell in love with cycling. This beautiful sport which now represents a huge part of my life. Back in my local club, Bk Zadar, when I was still a kid, it wasn’t that serious. By training you meant riding your bicycles with your older brother, your best friends and a coach who is like a father to you. While, during the races, you left your all on the tarmac and that’s what mattered the most. Even though I learned to have a smile on my face no matter the result, that’s also where I fell in love with winning. I won my first national championship at 13 years old and well, the rest is history…
All the way to Italy
I was always shooting for the stars. When I was about 16 years old I turned my whole life around and decided to go all in with this cycling thing. And off to Bergamo…
I signed for the best Italian team at the time, Team Fratelli Giorgi where I spent the next 2 years of my junior category. I don’t think there is a better place to gain racing experience than Italian junior races.
Adria Mobil
Later, I made my way up to the best slovenian team Adria Mobil, a continental cycling team from Novo Mesto. That’s where I’ve had my first WT races…

Who I am surrounded with truly means a lot. The atmosphere, energy and the whole vibe of this team is undescribable. These guys and this team is something best that happened to me in a long time and I am so glad to be part of it.
